SEO Tips for Listing Agents by Teles Talk, Teles Properties

Here are just a few SEO tips for you. Say what?  Search engine optimization improves the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” search results.. The important thing is getting your listing data out to the widest audience possible; I am sure you are wondering “Where do I start?”  The following sites are free but require some effort on your part:
www.postlets.com – Enter your listing here and it will be syndicated to Google Base, Oodle,  Front Door and Zillow, to name just a few.  It also allows you to post your listing to your social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace.  It makes you an ad for craigslist as well.  All you have to do is copy and paste the code it generates into the description box on craigslist and you’re practically done.  Postlets also creates a one page website for your listing.  That gives you a link that you can pass around and use in other online marketing efforts.  Finally, it creates a custom webpage for you, the agent.  The custom page generates a map of where all of your listings are.  This illustrates your service area.
www.twitter.com – Twitter gets indexed by Google fabulously.  If nothing else, you can use your postlets account Twitter feature and post your listings.  Post a listing this way and then try googling one of your listing’s addresses.
Clients are getting this information one way or the other; so as a real estate agent, make sure that the information is easily accessible and attached to your name.
